If you book online you can pay using all major debit & credit cards with our secure payment portal. If you prefer to order the skip over the phone then you may either pay cash to the driver upon delivery of the skip, or alternatively we accept payment by major credit and debit cards over the telephone prior to delivery.

Our drivers work Monday – Friday.  We aim to deliver your skip within 2 working days of your order subject to availability.

We can provide the following size chain-lift skips for both domestic and commercial hire:

• 2 cubic yard Mini
• 5 cubic yard Midi
• 8 cubic yard Maxi/builders

Mini and Midi skips are on hire for up to 3 clear working days. Maxi skips are on hire for up to a week. If you would like to keep the skip for longer than the standard hire period, this may be possible subject to skip availability, please speak to the friendly office staff to discuss and they will be able to advise you on any additional weekly hire charges that may apply.

Upon request, we are also able to provide a “wait ‘n’ load” service in the local area. Give us a call to discuss.

We ask you to please ensure skips are level-loaded only.  Any skips that are overloaded may be considered dangerous to transport and you will be asked to remove any excess waste.

We are able to deliver skips to most areas of East, South and North Leeds.  Further details are available on our online pricing form or please call 0113 249 3950 if you require assistance.

Unfortunately we are no longer able to deliver skips into the LS1 post code area.  This is due to the traffic restrictions in place and also the permitting restrictions for skips sited in the city centre area. 

Our specialist skilled drivers will use their own expert discretion to advise you where the skip may be safely and conveniently positioned.

We will endeavour to try our best to accommodate your own individual requirements, however we ask you to bear in mind the following considerations:

• Any skips that are positioned on the public highway or verge require a licence. As part of our service to you, we will ensure a licence is applied for from the relevant Local Authority. Please note we need at least 48 hour’s notice to obtain this and there is an additional charge for this
• Our skip delivery vehicles typically require minimum access dimensions of 10 feet in width. Please also note any overhead obstructions including trees, telephone cables etc.
• We try to avoid bringing our skip wagons onto driveways as the weight of the wagon and a full skip can cause damage to drive surfaces, manhole covers etc. As a rule, the wagon will reverse up to the entrance to the driveway and drop the skip down on the driveway using the hydraulic arms.  If you request that we place a skip on your property please be aware that Skelton Ltd are not liable for any damage caused to your property during the normal operation of delivering or collecting a skip or whilst the skip is in situ.  If you are in any doubt then please consider placing the skip outside your property and ask us to obtain a local authority licence.

A collection date will generally be agreed with you when you order the skip but if you need to change this then please call us on 0113 249 3950 to arrange for it to be collected.

Upon request, we are also able to provide a same-day-collection service.
