The 8 yard Maxi skip is our most popular skip – the “original builders skip” which is ideal for a wide range of medium-sized projects, including kitchen, bathroom, and other home renovations, as well as rubbish from gardens, garages and lofts. Perfect for bulky waste, as well as heavy waste such as builder’s rubble, soil, or concrete. With ample space to accommodate approximately 60-80 filled bin bags or 16 wheelie bins full of waste, Maxi skips are perfectly equipped to handle most jobs that generate a moderate amount of waste. As well as being popular for domestic use, they are also frequently used on building and construction sites. Important Driveway Information
We try to avoid bringing our skip wagons onto driveways as the weight of the wagon and a full skip can cause damage to drive surfaces, manhole covers etc. As a rule, the wagon will reverse up to the entrance to the driveway and drop the skip down on the driveway using the hydraulic arms. If you request that we place a skip on your property please be aware that Skelton Ltd are not liable for any damage caused to your property during the normal operation of delivering or collecting a skip or whilst the skip is in situ. If you are in any doubt then please consider placing the skip outside your property and ask us to obtain a local authority licence.
